The Pro Light and Sound show in Frankfurt has grown to be the most important show in the trade show calendar for our industry. This year LSC will release no less that three new products and preview the next release of Clarity software.

APS - Advanced Power System.
Shown as a proof of concept model at last year's Frankfurt show, the APS was released at the end of 2013 and has been an instant success. The APS is an intelligent power distribution system that allows circuits to be switched on sequentially to avoid in-rush current problems such as breaker trips, but that is only the beginning of its capability. For more information on the APS please follow this link.

PowerPoint - Simple effective Power Distribution.
If you don't need the intelligence of APS but just require simple power distribution then PowerPoint is for you. In a similar package to the APS, PowerPoint provides 12 channels of 10A, 13A or 16A of power with each circuit protected by an RCBO (MCB + 30mA RCD). There is also an overall 4-pole (3 actives + Neutral) Power Switch so that the entire unit can be turned off. There is a variety of output connectors available including Australian, Wieland, Socapex and Terminals.
Coming into production in the next few weeks PowerPoint can be used wherever power distribution is required, audio, video, LEDs , general power and of course lighting.

GenVI - The next thing in dimming and power control

The modern day rig contains all sorts of items, some that need dimming and some that just need straight power control. Pioneering the TruPower concept several years ago with the EKO dimming family, LSC has gained vast knowledge of how to mix and match dimming and power switching. Our experience in dimming is extensive and the GenVI is LSC's sixth generation of dimming architectures since our first analog dimmer in 1980.

GenVI has all the things you would expect from a modern power controller including colour LCD control, ability to set each channel to be either a dimmer or a switched power channel, a variety of output connector options, standard 3RU mounting, temperature controlled fans, Pulse Transformer Fired Dimming (PTFD), TruPower switched outputs, RCBO (MCB+30mA RCD) per channel, RDM, 16 bit dimming (2 DMX slots), 100% duty cycle and much more.

Clarity - the Revolution continues on

"Proglets" - not a term that you will be familiar with but once you see the new software being previewed for the Clarity range of products including the LX consoles, you will associate it with the word "WOW". It is just one of many new features in Clarity being shown at the exhibition.

So please make some time to drop by and see these great LSC products at the LMP booth (Hall B50 - all products) or Pro Systems Group (Hall 11, B66 - Clarity products only).
