LSC carries a lot of installation and project work. On occassions we have these written up into Case Studies to show how the demands of these jobs are met and the techniques and processes we use to make sure the customer gets what they want.

Here is a small sample of these projects. Check back here every so often as more projects are added to this list.

1) Arts Centre Gold Coast

The Arts Centre Gold Coast (ACGC), located on the banks of the Nerang River in Australia’s iconic Surfers Paradise, is the region’s premier cultural facility, bringing visual and performing arts to residents of South East Queensland. Formerly known as the Gold Coast Arts Centre, the complex houses the 1,139 seat Arts Theatre, Gold Coast City Gallery, two Cinemas and the Arts Cafe as well as several stunning function rooms, a chapel and two smaller performance spaces.
The Project ACGC required their ageing analogue dimmer system to be replaced with the latest digital technology to control conventional and non-conventional loads.

2) Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

Located on the southern bank of the Brisbane River and built on lands which were the traditional home to the Jagera and Turrbal Aboriginal people, the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) is the premier Arts Centre in Queensland, Australia.
The Playhouse Theatre opened in 1998 but as the existing dimmers were showing signs of age, a decision was made to replace them. Phil Viney from Design Stage was engaged to prepare a specification that would directly replace new for old dimmers in the 850 seat venue, however it was not as easy as it seemed.

This case study shows how LSC is a flexible company and can deliver what the customer wants and needs.
