maXim Software notes

Note for owners of older maXims.
Early versions of maXim generally had less memory fitted that maXims today. In some cases particularly with the maXim S and SV there may be insufficient memory to run or even load V3 software. Please use the Diagnostics Menu to determine how much memory is in your console and ensure that it is a minimum of 512K for the maXim S or SV. For further information view the related topic on our forums or contact your local dealer.

Note for owners of maXims with PatPad.
This version has enlarged the fixture library considerably.
As part of this upgrade the contents of the fixture library in your console will be destroyed.
Please make sure that you have the templates you need on disk BEFORE you start this upgrade. Templates are available on this website here.
Also please be sure that you follow the instructions included in the readme.txt file otherwise some of the functionality of the new code will not work.
