The display module is one of my patpad different values of the pan and tilt in my vga monitor. Normal would be from 0 to 256, but now there are numbers from 0 to 4000. Does anyone know how I can change. And is it possible for the wheel to pan and switsen tlt just fine to pan and tilt? And the same goes for USB trackball. This responds to me just fine as pan and tilt.
best regards,
Marcello Klaasse

Hi Marcello,

The values displayed in the PaTPad are controlled by the fixture template file. Usually we show the pan/tilt in degrees, so I expect that you are seeing 400.0, which means 400 degrees of Pan.

The values shown on the video display are the raw DMX values, so this will be 0-255 for an 8 bit channel or 0-65,535 for a 16 bit channel.

You can use the EDIT WHEEL to adjust fine Pan and Tilt. Just tap the PM button for Pan to select it and then use the wheel for fine adjustment. Then tap the PM button for Tilt and use the wheel to adjust. You can also use the < and > buttons to swap from Pan to Tilt (and other parameters) and assign them to the wheel.

If you are using the trackball then try using the different buttons to get Pan + Tilt, Pan Only, Tilt Only, Fine. I cannot remember exactly which button does what, but it is all in the User Manual so you can look it up there, or just play and work it out.
